The HOTLink Fiber Transition Module is used to transmit trigger primitive data from the detector front-end to the L1 muon trigger hardware. At each rising edge of the 132ns crossing clock, 168 bits of trigger primitive data are latched and converted into six serial output streams transmitted via optical fibers.
