where i runs from 1 to 5, one for each of the five clusters used in calculating the isolation sums. These clusters are fixed-size clusters around, and excluding, the seed tower and are calculated only for passes aimed at identifying electron triggers.

Block 5: XCES Block

XCES sends the L2 the full unsparsified hit map, i.e.

2 (E/W) x 12 (wedges) x 16 (wires) x 2 (z @108 cm) x 2 (threshold) = 1536 bits.

Therefore, XCES Data Block will consist of a fixed number of 64 words.




Block 6: SL7 Block

Super Layer 7 sends the L2 the full unsparsified hit map, i.e. 2592 bits.

Therefore, SL7 Data Block will consist of a fixed number of 108 words.


Block 7: CENTRAL Muon Block
